Anywho, here is the latest announcements of Asian dramas and movies scheduled to hit Netflix this November and a few movies that were added over the course of last week.

Coming Soon

I only found one so far, but it’s a great drama from 2016 that you used to be able to watch on DramaFever.

November 9

Popular Chinese drama Love o2o (aka One Smile is Very Alluring) is coming to Netflix. The drama stars Zheng Shuang, Yang Yang, Mao Xia Tong, Niu Jun Feng, Zhang He, Zheng Ye Cheng, Bai Yu, and Vin Zhang. We have a girl gamer who joins forces with the ultimate gamer on the server not knowing he is closer than she thinks and the god of their department and campus. There is no link yet. I do recommend the drama. The movie adaptation with Angelababy and Jing Bo Ran wasn’t bad, either.

One thing I like is they didn’t go the total computer major being a nerdy geek route nor the rich guy flaunting his wealth to a poor girl. This is based on a novel of the same name. There is actually more content in the drama series than that which was present in the novel itself (I’ve read it).

  • Project S Series, huh? I have been avoiding Thai dramas but lately I am thinking of giving it another try.

    • They have cute moments, but also some dark moments. I really liked S.O.S. and the portrayal of the teen struggling to deal with his depression.

      • Aaah cool. Any idea which one to start first?

        • The first drama in that series is Spike. I actually have only watched S.O.S so far. I should finally watch all of Side by Side as I really liked the leads acting in the clips i watched.

  • LoveO2O is my favourite Chinese drama. It’s also available on YouTube officially with eng subs.

    • Yep, I have it on my YouTube drama page with English subtitles.
